It's pretty arbitrary, but 5 just seems a lot. Like to get 5 albums out of a band regardless of quality is pretty sizable. But maybe 5 is better, idk
I can actually get down with Infinity being most underrated, just behind Folie as the best in my eyes
Don't You Know Who I Think I Am is probably the most underrated FOB song. Maybe top 5 catchiest choruses in their catalogue
Song is so good. I love the way Patrick sings the line "there's a world outside of MY front door" on the last chorus - IOH was my obsessive FOB album where it was genuinely all i would listen to, and I used to sing along with it and try to hit the high notes (whilst exercising, because that supposedly "helped your lung capacity" ), and neighbours from a block away would complain that i was singing too loud & too badly lmao
I'm getting to the familiar point in anticipating a new Fall Out Boy album where their old stuff is all I listen to. I can pick any album and enjoy it no matter what. There are few bands that I can do that with. IOH and Folie are on top for me because they were released when I was 16-18. I love having those albums to go back to and I love that their new stuff is current and different. The 19th can't get here fast enough.
Folie was the most underrated album ever made by them. That album was so good IMO that it should have won a fucking Grammy. Save Rock and Roll should have as well.
I just tracked down Suzy Bishop’s house like two weeks ago in person haha took a sweet pic in front of it.
"You take the full, full truth then you pour some out" That's a great part of ABAP title track. There's a lot of great moments lost in songs I can't stand on that record, so it's not like total trash like I act like it is, but it deserves to be bottom-ranked for sure
