I've been listening to these songs way more than I would've expected. Like I can't stop. And apparently Young + Menace was the song I listened to the most on Spotify last year. Im really really excited for this album. Could easily be my favorite post hiatus.
I feel like there hasn't been as much hype this time around still, but that being said the singles have been good so far. They definitely don't NEED a massive radio hit this album cycle, it'll sell well at this point regardless.
Prediction time: this will have kinda disappointing first week sales, but not that bad. Just under 100k. But it’ll be a consistent seller and there will be a hit on it that isn’t released yet
I second this prediction. It'll sell less than their last two first week, but will have a sleeper hit and will do well over time.
I really could see that being a big hit for them. I'm not sure if it's officially a single or just a pre-release track, but I think it could really take off if they push it to radio.
I don't think it's been pushed to radio, but yeah, it's got a huge cross over feel to it. I like it more every time I hear it.
Even "Champion" grew on me. Which makes tracks 1-6 a great little run since I already liked "Y&M" and love tracks four and five. (And we've heard "Wilson" live -- very Folie-like.)
Same here. It's unmistakably FOB, but it also seems like it'd fit right in with the current top 40 climate. It's so much fun I think you'd have to really try not to like it.
Honestly trying to picture someone other than Patrick Stump pulling off Hold Me Tight and I'm not sure it would work if he wasn't singing it.
