He sounds great but the autotune is overkill.

 

I actually think they got a lot better live after their reunion

 

listening to Soul Punk for the first time. shit's got some serious jams

 

I still think Folie is my favourite album overall.

I don't think anything can dethrone Folie for me but Lake Effect Kid is for sure my favorite song from them

 

everybody wants somebody feels like a Folie cut to me almost, def a record I should have appreciated more when it dropped

 

I thought Soul Punk and Truant Wave were very hit and miss but damn the hits are g o o d. can't get Spotlight out of my head lmao

Yeah wish I able to see Pat perform these songs live. The songs on Soul Punk really informed how FOB were going to sound after the hiatus

 

His live show supporting the album was honestly phenomenal

 

Soul Punk is better than any of the post-hiatus FOB albums

 

SoulPunk was the most underrated pop album of the last 20 years IMO

 

Run Dry might be his opus ngl

 

I swear Soul Punk and the EP it followed get better as time goes on. I definitely didn't appreciate them enough at the time, but both are right up my alley now, especially considering how my music tastes evolved since their releases. So underrated.

 

I only just realised Soul Punk is 10 tracks long instead of 15 lmao, and yeah that is a super good and satisfying album front to back. kinda surprised Bad Side of 25 isn't an album track though, that shit slaps

as for the EP... definitely a sessions scraps release is my impression haha. the alternate Spotlight and Love Selfish Love are rippers, a few others are aight, and Cute Girls is down there with that Roots song as the absolute worst things Patrick's ever made

 

that song is insane.

 

Gonna throw some love at The I in Lie. I can barely understand what he’s saying but it’s great.
