Just listened to MANIA again last night and it’s still a great record, Heavens Gate is an all timer FOB track

 

Can we talk about how good headfirst slide is for the millionth time

 

phenomenal song

I remember being so surprised about Patrick's range when I heard it for the first time

 

might be their best song

 

I'm going to have to finally break down and give this record another shot.

I never thought those words about a FOB album would ever come out of my mouth, but here we are...

 

If I had to pick only one FOB song to listen to it'd probably be Headfirst

 

Still their best song.

Holy shit, I totally forgot about Hand Of God until that post, listening to it now for the first time in forever and it realllly takes me back.

That being said, the song is extremely rough and pretty bad as it's clearly a demo. That being said, the bones of a great song are here if they would have ever finished it.

 

and if this is the "alternate version" of My Songs... then this is absolutely terrible

i just think raw fall out boy is the best fall out boy. these songs make me feel something their other songs don't.

Hand of God is fun but I think 7-9 Legendary is my favorite demo of theirs.

dance dance demo version is better than the album

 

also the panic at the disco time to dance demo was legendary stuff. the demos floating around on limewire during that era were surreal

 

they're still on youtube but there's about 3 different demos of that song with different names. also, i agree about the dance, dance demo.

 

I have the Time to Dance demo in my iTunes instead of the album version. It's a lot better.

 

Wow hadn't ever head Hand of God I don't think. I mean it's fine. Bit of Pete screaming and the novilaty of it being a demo is about all it has going for it. The demo for "My Songs...." I also never heard that either. Pretty cool rendition. Not great, but cool, lol.

 

the "does he, does he know the way to worship our loooove" in Headfirst Slide never fails to give me full-body goosebumps
