I have tickets to see them in a few weeks but tbh seeing all the insta photos they post of the giant crowds with not a mask in sight has been a huge turn off.
It's Hard to Say I Do When I Don't came on shuffle this morning while working and WOW most bands would kill to have album cuts as good as that and G.I.N.A.S.F.S.
I kinda hate saying it’s one of my favorites. You sound so pretentious when you say a demo is your favorite song.
They're getting into NFTs apparently. Talk about expensive mistakes :/ on brand in hindsight but still disappointing
Didn’t think this band could get more cringe than this album but NFTs feels like a natural progression.
Very, very much not for me but to each their own! SR&R had a few positive takeaways but it’s been pretty steadily downhill for my tastes since.
I need to jump on the underrated FOB song conversation a few pages ago and add Carpal Tunnel of Love which is probably top 3 for me.
The whole last stretch of Infinity on High (Bang the Doldrums, Fame<Infamy, You're Crashing, and I've Got All This Ringing) is fantastic and I rarely hear anyone talk about those songs Don't You Know Who I Think I Am is also amazing. Damn I love IOH
I can't find where right now, but I'm sure I saw a post saying/showing Pete doing "writing sessions" with John Feldmann a few months ago.
i have no way of knowing this but i can imagine that being more of a writing session for another artist rather than a fall out boy thing?
Fame < Infamy is definitely one of my fav ones of their less talked about songs, and then most of Folie a Deux lol. Especially West Coast Smoker.
Been wondering the same thing. It feels to me like they may be focusing on other things for a while… not a full hiatus like after Folie, because they’re still active in some capactity, but maybe taking a break from recording new stuff?
Yeah. I follow Pete on IG and whenever he's with Feldman he's with some other kid in the studio so it doesn't seem to be FOB related. I know Patrick has been keeping busy with his TV/film scores, but I don't think he and the rest band have worked on anything together (publicly anyway). They might be waiting till after HMT to release anything but I'm just guessing.
