Would happily accept that as well. I know for a fact my favourite Patrick Stump moment on any FOB record is when he goes the walls leeeaannn in to listen
I am pretty garbage with song names, so I wasn't 100% positive which songs were Tiffany Blews and w.a.m.s. Well, now I know and I want to fight.
(Coffee's For Closers) is my favourite song of theirs and it's been that way since I first heard it. Folie is their strongest record front-to-back even though some of it doesn't hit the highs elsewhere in their career. Plus they left off the fucking incredible Pavlove just because they could and I HATE that.
pavlove rules but wouldn't have fit anywhere on the actual album not fitting on the album didn't stop them from including golden on ioh though so maybe they should've just included it anyway
Little bit of resequencing might have allowed them to but I can't think of a song on there I'd like to cut so maybe it's better it stayed off.
Though it won’t help his case I agree with Steve’s takes about Folie. Not all of the Infinity criticism sits as well though. It’s been forever since I’ve listened to them but I think I like each release less than the one before it.
Pavlove is one of my favorite B sides because its a fantastic summation of so many aspects of the record that they do on the album (rocky verses, soulful chorus, ohs up the wazoo) but doesn’t fit the record and they do them better elsewhere
Used to have a hoot making fun of this ain’t a scene until I woke up one day and realized I had inadvertently taught myself to enjoy it
"Tiffany Blews" has potentially the catchiest chorus of all time. it's only rivalled by "20 Dollar Nose Bleed" which is somehow on the same fucking album, how
