Folie MANIA AB/AP SR&R FUTCT IOH TTYG Folie and MANIA are basically tied for first, TTYG is such a distant last that it's not even funny. The rest kind of switch based on the day
Y'all are fools. For a true fan like myself, this is the only correct answer: TTTYG = FUCT = IOH = FOD = SRAR = Mania > AB/AP I can't believe they named an album after that song. Singlehandedly dragging down the rest of the album.
AB/AP has a couple duds and a lot of overplayed songs that I am completely burnt out on and never want to hear again. Only FOB album like that for me. PS Mania is incredible
I'll die on the AB/AP being really good hill. Kids Aren't Alright, Jet Pack Blues, Twin Skeletons, Fourth of July, and Novocaine are some of their best songs. Only dud is the title track
Ranking this band is hard but I'll try and see what I feel today, but I love this band so much and they're so good that it frequently changes idk Folie = Mania > FUTCT > SRAR = AB/AP > IOH > TTTYG TTTYG is the only one I don't absolutely love
Nostalgia, fun songs, a cool vocal approach to a tired genre. It's not a bad album just cause the other ones are mostly better
Mania is their best album. Everything after that switches, mostly to whatever I listened to last. Honestly, I had such low expectations for Mania, but it completely blew me away. Find something new with it every time I listen. Hold Me Tight might be my favourite song of theirs.
And what is your point? That the trash is actually just as good as the stuff that made them a household name?
Most of this album never grabbed me. I told myself I’d be able to enjoy it more when it got warmer, but I rarely ended up reaching for it. Some songs grabbed me, but not all of it
Oh yeah that one was tongue and cheek on my part haha. The rest of my rankings are honest though.you can replace evening with pax am and it works for me.
folie > cork tree > mania > infinity > srar > ttyg = ab/ap I love all of them. Ttyg is brought down by lyrics but bolstered by insane nostalgic attachment that will never go away. Ab/ap is just an uneven listen without much cohesion to the record as a whole, but almost every song is good with several reaching great.
there’s really no wrong ranking, I’d even accept someone’s fav as TTYG if nostalgia is the driving factor. Sound wise I think it’s the best pop punk album from that era. Extremely solid songwriting but given it’s a debut it’s pretty scrappy and loose but that works in its favor
I honestly think AB/AP is their only bad song. Like, every other song I would've usually skipped has since grown on me. Except that one.
