Hold Me Tight, Church, and Bishops Knife Trick are almost certainly being added. Wouldn't be too surprised if Lake Effect Kid was played, at least in Chicago.
Watching the Reading set makes me wish the records sounded more like their live show. Especially Joe's guitar.
We were all watching them saying the same thing. He somehow looks worse in person than on that video. This would solve at least like 50% of my issues with the last two records. Live the songs are really good but on record most of them do nothing for me.
Part of me is like ugh why are they touring with machine gun Kelly but I guess it's nice cause when I go I'm making a long drive after work and I don't have to rush to care about the openers
Title track is great, City In a Garden is pretty good, Super Fade is complete garbage. MANIA still rules. Wondering if I should see this on tour.
Super Fade is an experience. I think i said it before but it feels like the band more successfully executing what they tried on Young & Menace. When those strings hit in the bridge its *mwuah*. This is what Fall Out Boy firing on all cylinders in 2018 sounds like.
Honestly Young and Menace isn't BAD. It's just not GOOD. The piano version that Patrick played was really sick though.
Meh, I think Young and Menace is really good. In the top half of songs on a really solid album for me. Each to their own.
If you’re not feeling hype as fuck when Patrick sings I SHOULD’VE KNOWN BETTER I SHOULD’VE KNOWN BETTER I SHOULD’VE TRIED TO SING ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOU I think you’re doing something wrong imo, but to each their own. I’ll keep loving this EP
