my "this again" was referring to you always acting like your opinions are "right" and everyone else is "wrong"
I've always seen Infinity on High as that awkward middle child between From Under the Cork Tree and Folie a Deux. Not nearly as awkward as American Beauty/American Psycho; we don't talk about that one. Folie and Mania > everything else, in constantly changing order > AB/AP
Right, buy the way you approach it compared to most other people on this site is much more condescending, which is where the annoyance comes from.
I had no idea FAD was held in such high regard. Has some real good songs on like, but always felt a bit out of place to me, never quite worked as a whole. SRAR, Mania, TTTYG all switch between my favourites, with IOH very close up there too.
mania was built off the backs of successful tracks like this. abap was, at the very least, a necessary record to hone in on what makes mania so good
What a Catch, Donnie and Golden have at least grown on me over the years. AB/AP, the song, just. ugh. yikes.
Tracks 4-9 are great. Track 1 and 11 I think are good too. I can think of three that don't fit as well in their disco (2, 3, 10) or would be considered "low."
Fourth of July, The Kids Aren't Alright, Jet Pack Blues, Uma ... man that's the band at their best right there.
ABAP is by far the most underrated track in their entire discog, it is a blast and you guys need to loosen up and have fun with it
