even in the TTYG/FUCT era, some lyrics are ripped from Wes Eisold (e.g.,"I could have died with you"/"hey 'tear catcher'" are from American Nightmare and Some Girls). for a while FOB had some consistency in borrowing Eisold's material, heh.
Something I think is interesting is that on the CD sticker, the featured singles mentioned were TLOTRO, HMTOD, and Church, even though Champion was their lead radio single.
The Last of the Real Ones is an instant new favorite FOB song. Holy shit. This album is probably my second favorite from the band, at this point.
I'm struggling to exist with youuuuu....and without youuuu yeahhh. That part and the bridge/final chorus always get me.
I like Bishops Knife, but have a hard time remembering what it sounds like compared to the first half of the album.
My top 5 would be Sunshine Riptide, Church, Heaven’s Gate, Last Of The Real Ones, and maybe Bishop’s Knife Trick at this point
Ranking the songs on this album is damn hard, as it changes every few days. im over champion tbh. i dont skip it every time, but i hardly make it through the whole thing. that guitar riff was wasted and should've been used on a better song.
chorus of young and menace is perfect example to anyone who thinks andy doesnt do shit anymore. his fills in the chorus are great.
