I just can't even deal with this shit. Here's a news flash: Even if they woke up tomorrow and the "radio pop millennials" were gone, they STILL wouldn't do a TTTYG tour. It's not who they are as people and artists anymore, like it or not.

Agreed. The band grew up and I grew up with them as a fan. Fuck nostalgia and living in the past.

Although I'd be down to hear Homesick at Spacecamp just one more time...

 

I love seeing all the love for Folie, by far their best record. I agree with the statement of a mid-sized Folie tour, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

That makes a lot of sense. I'm not a fan myself, but I have a friend who I know is going to freak out about this, and most likely try to convince me to go to the St Louis show.

Blackbear is pretty well known at this point. I doubt the 2nd support will be billed above him. I don't think they'd put his name above the other if they were going to switch it later.

 

I'm not overly excited by Blackbear as support, but he'll probably only get 45 minutes or so.

 

I was kind of hoping for just one opener and a little longer FOB set.

 

Just looked up Blackbear. He has a platinum record for co-writing Bieber's "Boyfriend". Not a bad way to start a career!

Fall Out Boy squash rumors of “Take This to Your Grave” 10th anniversary tour

 

I'm not really on board with a TTTYG tour, but I think it'd be kinda cool if they did something at some point similar to what NFG or Alkaline Trio have done recently. Go on a tour and play a couple albums front-to-back in a night. Obviously, they don't have to do something like that, but I think it could be pretty fun.
