I remember the hoodie. DecAdance merch was my jam around the Folie era. On another note, how many people googled Nikki Sixx today? ::hand raise::
I'm not sure why everyone is so surprised by this song. Did everyone forget West Coast Smoker? I can ABSOLUTELY see how the band that wrote that song wrote this song.
Oops Fall Out Boy got me temporarily banned from twitter... I tweeted "F*** [I didn't use stars] you Fall Out Boy for releasing a song this good and not immediately announcing a Chicago tour date (jk I'll be patient)", but apparently twitter thought I meant that abusively (although it is good to see that they're following through with their words to try to mitigate online bullying, so I'm not even mad).
So excited, I just wish they would do some sort of return to their roots. But they do pop-rock quite well.
But.... You're the one who said it could be done better. I'm not using a weak argument, I'm only taking your argument seriously and asking for proof
So any time someone says something can be done better, it's their responsibility to do it better? Come on, that's lazy and ridiculous.
Well, on the one hand, if you make a claim without evidence, then I think the burden of proof should be on you. Whether that means you doing it better or you presenting how someone else did it better. If you don't, then you're making an entirely unsubstantiated claim, which is "lazy and ridiculous." On the other hand, my choice in emojis should have made it entirely clear that my initial comment was a joke, but the user didn't seem to take it that way.
I didn't say I could do it better. I said the concept/sound could, and has been many times, be done better Which is my opinion by the way. Why do I need evidence for an opinion
Ah, they should instead give in to the trends josh- on chorus.fm likes, then their reputation will no longer be tarnished!
Whenever I need to remind myself that I actually hate talking to other people about music, I visit an FOB thread.
