However, I do love how much they always change up their sound and release such different sounding, polarizing singles - similar to what they talk about in the Zane Lowe interview. A lot of respect for that every time.
Reminds me a lot of robot boy by linkin park. Given that it's only the chorus that's way out there and that pop/dubstep has long desensitized me to that noise I didn't hate this as much as I expected to. It's got a brooding yet anthemic feel to it. I think the chorus goes on too long but I think other bands have done more offensive "weird for the sake of weird" moments. Like the rock bottom line of the new paramore song....
Honestly I just hate that the song is called "Young and Menace". I wish it was either "Young and a Menace" or just "Menace".
I can't get past the "oops I did it again" line. I just start thinking about Britney for the next 10s and it throws me
I can't believe anyone is defending this shit. This is trash. The band's completely giving in to mainstream trends and has completely tarnished their reputation.
I can't get over the thought I had of "man... this is going to be one of the heaviest songs on the radio!" ... a bit of it dragged on too long, but overall.. I'm diggin' it!.. then again, I typically dig all of FOB's progressions into different stylistic approaches...
I just want to say that I've listened to this band for almost 15 years and I never realized they have a color theme with their album art.
This song is fantastic. Also, the video is really quite good as well. All in all, this is exciting news.
I kind of wish the chorus wasn't stuck in my head right now because I'm sure I'm not remembering it correctly. Damn it Fall Out Boy
