This is a damn fine cup of coffee.

In fairness to Greg, the whole band was on drugs. Greg was just the most affected by it. It's crazy that their post-reunion career has now produced the same number of albums as before. Submarines rips, too.

This song is quite good, I’m just happy that this band is back in releasing music consistently

Damn, I didn't realize what Ken was going through ahead of In the Future... Just as he reconciled his relationship with Greg, another relationship falls apart. What a shame. (Recent Rigs of Dad and Everyone Loves Guitar podcasts with Ken were very informative.)

gawddamn Division might be the pinnacle of their post-reunion career, and that's saying a lot.

So that is a good segue to a question I have:

Of the two post reunion albums which is everyone’s favorite?

    hmmm

Two listens in. Long Division and Bad Translation definitely the highlights for me too currently.

I suspect the last one is more popular (?) but The Heart Is A Monster is still my favourite. One of the great rock comeback records of the last decade or two in my opinion.

Headstand and Long Division are all timers, but most of this is fantastic, as expected.

    FP ~ ITF > Magnified > THIAM > Comfort

If I had to guess, this slides in very close to Magnified for me after more time with it.

The more I listen, the more I like this album. Definitely the best post reunion imo.
