Idk I thought this album was 4-5 songs too long, wasn’t a big fan. Still hoping to catch them with Swervedriver, elite live band

 

I think it changes it up just enough to stay interesting the whole way through. Got the classic Failure bangin groovy rockers, some quasi-chill stuff, and some darker, more out there stuff. And then it ends on a total curveball

 

Just saw them and was ecstatic that the setlist was heavy on the new stuff. Amazing experience as always.

Have to say Swervedriver (my first time seeing them) didn't sound that great, even though I love them and their new LP

 

Is it true they were selling the record (albeit signed) for 70 bucks? I'm not mad or anything cuz they're older dudes and can kinda do whatever they want at this point but yeesh guys lol

 

Yep, $70 for the LP last night. I guess it doesn't help that they just got boned by PledgeMusic on this latest album cycle, to be fair.

 

From what I understand it looks like they used their own funds to make all the physical materials for the album while the campaign was ongoing, and when it came time for PledgeMusic to pay them out and effectively reimburse them, they got left high and dry (as have a bunch of other bands, it seems). Jesus that sucks

 

Didn't really give this album the attention it deserved last year but damn this is so good.

 

Just saw em in Chicago. They have a strong case for best live band I’ve ever seen. I’m not too big on the recorded version of Screen Man but it was mind melting live

 

They are absolutely phenomenal live

 

really bummed this tour missed me. hope they don't take too long of a break.

 

Finally listened to the whole album since the last ep was released. This band is too good.

super stoked for Comfort for some reason, reminder that Screen Man turns from just OK on the record into one of the best live songs of all time

 

Listening to some FP today. Man this is just a phenomenal album still.
