i have only ever seen the first one and i think i saw 2Fast one time back when it came out. i recently re-watch the first one and still really liked it, want to do the same and watch the entire series. i've seen the 8 film set on sale so many places for like $30-40 and next time i see it im gonna get it.

 

Sit back, relax and enjoy as the franchise gets more and more ridiculous as time goes on. It's a good time.

 

Yeah I can’t wait to see reactions once you get to like 5 and 6 and it just gets more and more insane.

 

should i watch them in release order or timeline order?

 

As someone who is doing the same thing, just watch them in release order.

So far, Fast Five has been my favorite. 6 was ridiculous, going to watch 7 tonight

 

We watched in release order, I feel that's better because the ridiculousness just ramps up with every film, and the story isnt that important.

 

Fast Five is the best and it’s a genuinely good action movie IMO. 7 is a gut punch because it’s PW last movie and the send off is good IMO. Absolutely watch in release order

The fam killed so many civilians died during that heist. That safe was flying through buildings left and right.

 

F9 looks rad as hell. Happy to have Justin Lin back in the director's chair.

Anyway, my take is the Fast & Furious movies are Dragonball Z with Cars. These movies rule

 

I surpassingly liked the fourth one a lot during a rewatch. 6 is also a good time.

 

I need to watch these, gonna start with 4 since I saw the first 3 yearssss ago, but feel like that’s not too important lol

 

I would love to watch these absolutely bonkers movies for the first time again.

 

Since last Saturday, I’ve watched 1-4 for the first time in a decade or more and 5-8 + H&S for the first time. These movies are so much better when they’re unhinged.

 

Watched the first three last night.

2 > 1 > 3 as of now

 

I don't think I could ever bring myself to rewatch the first 3, though I could definitely use a refresher on 4-6.

I don't think the series really kicks off until Fast 5

 

The first one is good. A lot different obviously than the rest of the series. 4 is the weak point in my opinion. Then 5 on all absolutely rule.

 

F8 is okay at the very best
