I defend these movies to the death, but @Greg has got points lmao

 

They have some entertainment value, but they are dumb as hell. And I read back a few pages and people liking Vin over the Rock is absurd. Vin is the worst part of these movies.

Who else took their team from street racing to orbit?

 

I’ll never forget a couple years back watching Point Break and the original Fast back to back and being like, wait. That was the same exact movie.

 

I was not ready for this announcement at all

 

I’m just concerned that with all these new characters there won’t be much screen time for Tyrese. His character, whose name I forgot, is one of cinema’s greatest achievements.

 

Haha Brie in Fast & Furious should be awesome. I love her in Scott Prilgim. I’m sure this will be one of those “just have fun with it” roles.

Yeah I mean I would be shocked if she isn’t Brian’s sister, seems like the most obvious role to cast her as

 

She could actually be Brian from another dimension

 

Larsen, Momoa, and Melchior in this has me pretty excited. These films are great fun and all 3 of those actors can be entertaining in their own right. The icing on top.

 

The cliffhanger at the end of 10 that sets up 11 is going to be amazing

 

I really would like 10 to go back to basics and feel like the first 4 films.

11 can get crazy. Throw some time travel or multiverse stuff in there. End it on a bang.

 

So just be a movie about racing and street crime again?

 

I’d prefer that over 11 and 12 both being over the top.

I doubt it will happen but it would be nice to see one final F&F film feature a lot of racing and street crime before the main series of the franchise ends.

 

They aren't going to go back. Those films have much less appeal to audiences. They do need to bring back Leon for closure, though.
