I thought I remembered the rumor was he was going to be a member of the Hobbs family in some way and that was maybe how Vin was trying to lure the Rock back. Doesn't look like it worked though so maybe they'll scrap that angle (if it was ever being considered in the first place).

Finally watching this after watching 8 finally yesterday. I already screamed “fuck you” at this thing within a 5 minute period in the first 25 minutes.

and my god dom is the least interesting part of these movies.

 

Oh my god they actually explained why the dads car exploded into flames. I don’t know if it’s a real thing, but they actually explained something absurd happening.
