F1 TRADEMARK The Movie (Joseph Kosinski - June 27th, 2025)

F1 is an upcoming American sportsaction drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ehren Kruger based around the auto racing championship of the same name, created in collaboration with the FIA, its governing body. The film stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Lewis Hamilton, Javier Bardem and Sarah Niles.

 

Joseph Kosinski is bring that Top Gun Maverick energy into this and that's a good thing!!

 

Looks wild as hell. Big and loud, day one.

This movie should crush at the box office

 

Simple name, huge movie stars, action packed, on a sport that's become super popular. #winning

other reactions are also positive, here’s the only guy i know to be at least halfway respectable (save the “most entertaining you’ll ever see” there)

dug this, even though it’s too damn long and the story could use a bit more oomph. but all the racing scenes are exhilarating if that’s the only reason you’re going. ditto the score and cast (brad might be the weak link, surprisingly). liked the vintage style and feel of it too. like someone else said, it might’ve been a fumble to drop this two weeks past father’s day weekend

i will be referring to it as F1 Trademark The Movie for all the many conversations i’ll be having about the movie, i’m sure :)

 

would be a shame if they themselves did not abide by that
