I haven't seen Explosins In The Sky since I saw them open for Nine Inch Nails in 2013, so I'm really excited that they are coming to Cleveland for a headliner. This will be my fifth time seeing them, they have been really amazing each and everyone of those shows I've seen. I'm certain this one will be the same.

I went to the Cleveland show last night and as expected, it was really good. This was the fifth time I've seen them in the span of about ten years, each time I have seen them a wave of emotion comes over me and I don't know what it is. The music just conveys so much emotion and feeling with ever saying anything. The lights they used are great and I can't remember if it was like that when they opened for Nine Inch Nails or not but it was well welcomed. The setlist spanned five (out of six) albums over just ten songs. The set was about an hour and a half but I wish they had pushed it another 20 minutes and went until 11. But even then I'm sure I would've wanted more. They are just such a great live band and the way they end the set with "The Only Moment…" was really cool. Hopefully it won't be another four years until I get to see them live again.

I saw them last year for the 3rd time ever and it was probably the best time I've seen them. I agree that I love the light set up they're using. I just bought tickets to see them in LA this September. Imo they are a must see band.

I'm going to LA too @flask

I'm excited it is at the Greek after seeing the 1975 there last month. Explosions is a must see band. I saw them in Berlin last summer when I was there studying abroad and it was a surreal experience

Yo, to anyone in the LA area looking to go and doesn't have a ticket - I'm selling mine the show at the Greek next Monday (09/18). PM if interested, let's work it out!

Ah wish I saw your post earlier, I just bought my LA ticket the other day.

I've never been to the Greek before, how are the seats on the wings on the side? I'm afraid I'll have an obstructed view!

I've been there once for the 1975 and I sat in the upper middle part of the seats. Can't help you with those wing seats, but I can say I think the venue is damn gorgeous and I can't wait to see Explosions' production plastered against the the LA night sky.

What he said. Was only there just this past summer for 3EB, and while I was around the same spot, I felt like I had an unusually clear and close view of the stage. Seems like it's one those spots where there isn't a bad seat in the house!

So hyped. The Greek is the only LA venue I had to cross off my list and I'm moving back east next week. Glad I could sneak this one in at the last minute!

Show was great last night, so happy to finally see Your Hand In Mine live.
Sad that it didnt sell too well, though. The last 15 rows or so were completely empty.

Fantastic as always but I could not believe how many people left after Your Hand In Mine.

Oh man i know! As soon as the song ended my whole section just flooded out. I think it was because of the weather, so many people in t-shirts and shorts around me shivering the whole time......whatever though gave me a chance to get a better seat lol.

I definitely noticed that too. They missed "Colors In Space" and "The Only Moment We Were Alone" which was a terrible mistake.

I'm glad it was still almost full in the first two sections

Surprised that they played a venue as large as the Greek for Los Angeles, because it seems like they're just playing larger clubs for the rest of the tour. Not sure what the demos are for their most popular markets, but I've been eyeing the Seattle show ever since I planned to move back north, and those are STILL going for $130 at the cheapest!
