Explain Your Avatar!

Many users switch their avatars around often with a new album cover they're into or something like that, and others have had the same avatar forever (@irthesteve )! So it's simple, what is your avatar and why'd you choose it?

Mine is currently art from a DJDS single. I really love all of their covers and Stand Up And Speak is currently my AOTY. I'll probably change it soon, and then once September rolls around, I'll have something Packers related throughout most of the NFL season.

Little known fact, for the first year or so of AP my avatar was a Coheed & Cambria planet/moon/whatever thing. At some point I changed it to the badger, for reasons that I don't remember and probably didn't have a story. New site = upgrade, but keeping it classic at least. I like the way the new one works with the site color scheme here

I used to change avatars all the time but lately I've been keeping the same one for a while. Can't see myself switching this any time soon, I fucking love this album art and obviously the album even more

 

I like to stick with mine for at least 2-3 months.

 

What album is that?

 

I've been using this same avatar for ten years now, on other forums even before joining AP. Sonic the Hedgehog was the first video game I ever played, and my RuneScape username was "Hedgehog64," so when I joined a RuneScape fansite I made Sonic my avatar. Stuck with it ever since.
