Teaser is now showing in theaters before Lee Cronin's The Mummy. Looks chaotic.

The French are good with excess, excited for this. Ill certainly try to catch in the theater

 

Yeah I still wanna watch Infested but I'm not great with spiders :/
Will probably power through before this comes out tho

 

my expectations are lukewarm, to prepare myself for the best and the worst.

 

The teaser before LC’s The Mummy had me PUMPED.

 

We were late to our showtime of The Mummy (literally never happens) and got there in time for the movie, but missed the teaser :(

 

The teaser is awesome. Quite honestly what a teaser should be.

Neither movie was up to the level of the originals, but I slightly preferred the Fede Alvarez one annoyingly titled Evil Dead to the Lee Cronin one - they were both gnarly and fun but the latter just didn't hit quite as hard for me.

Raimi has an interesting thing going where he siccs an up-and-comer with a "calling card" movie or two under their belt to take a crack at his little sandbox. I haven't seen Infested but I have seen The Last Stop In Yuma County, and on the basis of that movie I am actually pretty stoked for Evil Dead Wrath, out (checks)...sometime in 2028.

 

Evil Dead 2013 is the second-best in the franchise imo.

The 2013 is honestly my favorite one out of all of them which is probably sacrilege

I really don't like Army of Darkness that much tbh. First two are obviously classics though and close second (II) and third (I) for me though
