The new album from Facedown Records band Everything In Slow Motion. A diverse record that captures the heavier side of indie rock with occasional forays into post-hardcore on one end of the musical spectrum and ambient pop on the other end. The closest comparison I can think of would be Pianos Become the Teeth or Moving Mountains, but it's decidedly its own thing. It reminds me of something that Tooth & Nail would have put out in the early to mid 2000's that would have become a staple in the emo genre. It sounds very fresh, but also very nostalgic. Anyway, it's a great record. I can see it getting a lot of love on this site.
