It's funny he cites No Country for Old Men because that ending turns off a lot of people on a rewatch.

 

I have the opportunity to see this in IMAX tonight. Still deciding if I should or if I should watch it at home.

I have rewatched Spotlight a couple times and it still hits.

 

Also now I am looking at winner/nominee the past 15 years.

Here is A take: Moneyball should have won in 2011 over The Artist

 

Do fans of The Artist even exist? Does that movie even exist?

 

I've never seen it, but I think everyone agrees that The Artist shouldn't have won.

 

Also Moonlight deserved their win in 2016, but it should have been between that and Hell or High Water, and not that and La La Land.

I’ve always wanted a live action film that hit me as hard as End of Evangelion did with the same themes and this did!

 

I love that, to him, this is a, “gotchya,” moment.

He is such a wet fart.

 

It's like when Trump was upset that Parasite won.

 

Also want to point out the genius behind the mandarin title - 媽的多重宇宙, which means 'Fucking Multiverse!' but also includes a pun that reads 'Mom's multiverse.'

 

Incredible movie. Fans of Community and Rick and Morty would fucking love it

 

Knowing the love and support the cast and crew have for each other just makes the film even more spectacular.

 

Almost exactly a year ago this was my initial thoughts right out of my first of 3 screenings. I was calling my shot with it being an instant classic but I did not foresee it being an actual box office hit and best picture winner
