I think it was mostly because of the weekend is all. We actually had a spike in voters at the end of TBD.

 

Champing vs. Bored is going to be a tough match-up for me. And depending on how the first two shake out, that could pretty tough as well.

 

@carrytheweight can you share the list of bonus tracks we'll be using for that round? (Sorry if you did this already and I missed it), I just want to make sure I have them all and can put together a playlist to listen through.

 

Alright everybody, gotta close this round out and move onto Round 3. Gave it the extra time cause of the weekend. We actually have a tie for the first time.

For the tie, I gave both a spin just now for a last minute listen. It only secured what I thought would be my pick, which is gonna be L'Astronaut. Super fun track, lyrics are a bit better. Plus I like the name.

The first matchup was easy for me.

The second one was extremely difficult. Ideally, Champing At The Bit vs. Bored Stiff would’ve been the final matchup. I thought I was going to go with Champing At The Bit, but I just couldn’t go against Bored Stiff. I just listened to them both a couple times and Bored Stiff has the slightest edge.

Hey all, I started a bracket for The Gaslight Anthem in their thread if you're all interested. @carrytheweight I confess I borrowed you introductory statement. Same rules still apply, however, we're not doing it by albums. We're doing each individual song in alphabetical order. 70 songs total, 5 matches per round, and a wild card round will take place.
