I figured Moor would sweep so I had to show El Dorado some love.

I thought it was funny how we were the first two posts on this round and we both picked the exact opposite tracks. At least everyone's on the board!

 

I really do love Moor a lot. Easily a top 5 track for me. However, I do believe other songs should win but that's just me. You know, the guy who can't vote.

 

I did notice that, haha.

I've been going back through their discography because of this and their bonus tracks could make up an album that is better than so many other band's best album.

Definitely. It's part of the reason why they're getting their own bracket. I considered just including them with their respective albums but then the Salem EP wouldn't be included and I can't ignore those tracks.

Moor caught me off guard the first time I heard it, it was a nice bit of experimentation for them that paid off real well. The ending of Idiot might be my favorite ETID moment. Thirst vs Overstayer was the toughest for me, but Thirst has that "They don't love you, like I do..." bit that puts it over for me.

Decayin' With The Boys is the perfect ETID song in my mind. The perfect blend of heavy and party that they're known for.

Maybe people don't like Old Light, but I'm surprised to see so much love for Decayin'. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled - that might be my favorite ETID song.

 

Old Light is damn great song. Brian Fallon kills it on that track too.

 

Every time I've seen it live people go apeshit. I love it too.
