Never saw them live either, just Ratbeard filling in for Billy Talent. IMO it stinks to be a hardcore fan of a band you've never seen live, for me that would be Alexisonfire and Thursday. Then there are lots of ppl I know who don't care if they've EVER seen a live band. That's not living!
Used to have TBS, not Every Time I Die. We're Wolf is the only ETID performance I can recall as well.
Ironiclast is still just as much fun and just as catchy as the day I first heard it. I hope they make another record. Keith is an extremely talented vocalist. "A Great Reckoning" might contain my favorite hook on any rock song ever lol
I thought somewhere either Keith or Andy said they were doing an EP. Plus, there was that video from Joe and Keith of a new song from the studio.
The D The Damned Things confirmed they recorded a new EP back in December. Probably just waiting for a prime time to drop it, possibly in-between some of the bands touring cycles. On one of the Pudcasts the ETID dudes mentioned that they probably wouldn't be doing any more "rock" songs on albums and that they might release that type of music on a separate release, so either through a separate ETID release or even more Damned Things would be cool.
THE KING GETS HIS ACES BACK MY GOOD NAMES NO GOOD ANYMOOOOORE YOU CANT TAKE ME ANYWHERE IM NOT WANTED, I RECKON
Was this before or after Low Teens dropped? I feel like Two Summers is the most "rock" song they've had in a while. In fact, of the last 3 albums probably the ONLY "rock" song.
Probably after. That kinda sucks some of them feel so uncomfortable with it, I still love Two Summers and It Remembers. Maybe not QUITE as much as some of their others but still.
So uh they just announced they're doing a concert on a cruise boat 2 days after their show with TBS in NY and I'm tempted. Seems like it could be quite the experience.
ETID on a boat would be insane. If you are close by I don't see how you don't go barring some sort of family reason.
So what I'm getting is boat shows are amazing and I should prioritize this over their show with TBS right
The Goodtime boats in Cleveland need to expand their brand and start doing summer boat shows. We can do this too.
Chicago boats need to start doing this too and smoke out the jabrone boats (jabroats) that clog up the waterways
I think it was right after Low Teens came out. Two Summers wasn't going to make the album, but they compromised on it. I personally think Keith liked it too much for it to not be on there but the other guys weren't too keen on it.
