Man these guys do not get old. Saw them tonight in Lawrence Kansas for the 15th time and they just get better.
Excited to see these guys in a tiny venue with no barricade for the first time in 5 years in May. Too much Warped Tours and support slots since then
It's a great record. I was out of town last week. So, sadly, I missed their stops in Colorado. Luckily I saw them a few months back and they played quite a few Low Teens tracks.
Holy shit Keith is on @Boring_as_heck's Bar Rescue podcast that's broadcast on Chaturbate right now lol! He said they had planned to make a Bar Rescue themed video for Two Summers but it didn't work out
They posted the first one on YouTube a few days after. I'll try to post it here if/when that happens.
Was listening to Andy on a podcast and he mentioned a past Warped Tour where Of Mice and Men were essentially outed as faking it live due to technical difficulties. I've seen people mention newer Warped bands that fake it live or rely heavily on backing tracks. I sort of assumed it was the newer metalcore stuff, but does anyone know other bands that fake it live in this "scene"?
I was listening to Lead Singer Syndrome last night and Danny Worsnop was the guest. He said this is a very real thing but didn't name names. He did however say that when Dennis first joined AA they were actually just playing Danny's vocals from a recording while Dennis lip synced. This went on until they issued a cease and desist. He then recorded his own vocals for those songs and used them as backing tracks. Weak.
And those are two of the more successful bands going in heavy music. That's really disappointing that most fans don't care. I don't listen to that style of heavy music, but would I be safe to assume most of their counterparts like SWS and the like do the same thing?
I walked by SWS's set at Warped and there's no way they use a vocal backing track and still sound that bad haha.
