I've been meaning to ask this since they announced Low Teens cause I've been a bit unclear about the details- the two bonus tracks that will be on the "deluxe" version (Skin Without Bones and Nothing Visible; Ocean Empty)- are they only going to be available digitally? I see iTunes and Amazon with them listed, but I cannot find any vinyl or CD versions that do. Does anyone know if there will be any physical release that includes the bonus tracks? NJA and Ex Lives had theirs available physically, but FPU's were only digital until the release of the Salem EP. ETID's "extra" songs are so good, they often end up becoming some of my favorites of each album.
I don't have the answer to that question, but I want to know as well. ETID's bonus tracks are never ever throwaways and deserve physical release.
also: the artwork that jordan made for the coin has a say (no country for low teens) is so awesome. i ordered a print and didnt even care that i had to purchase a second copy of low teens to get it.
So here I am, having my morning coffee at work. I open Chorus, see notifications on the ETID thread, get excited thinking it leaked, then become disappointed when it didn't. I too am incredibly impatient. I hope it leaks today, not that I know of any reason that it would, but I would really appreciate being able to listen to it before my first hockey game of the season.
They need to have their own fuckin tou- alright I'll stop Yeah I'm seeing them on that Beartooth tour in NYC
From ETID's FB: "ATTN: Buffalo and the surrounding areas; Around every album release time we throw a little listening party at a nearby bar and invite everyone to come check out the new record early. This time, we're stoked to announce that THIS SATURDAY, Sept 17th at The Waiting Room we'll be teaming up with Matty Matheson from VICETV's "Dead Set On Life" who will be in town this week to film a segment on Buffalo food and the hardcore scene. Doors are at 7pm and it's $5. No pre-sale. Come listen to "Low Teens", do some body shots off of us and celebrate our 8th full length!" I think I'm gonna go. Should be a blast!
If I was anywhere near there, I would go no question! If you do go, don't forget to let us know how the album is!
Listening to Pudcast now. I forgot how much I enjoy these. It's so nice to have such transparency with a band I love so much. Especially considering my other favorite band is Brand New and they're the exact opposite way. Some notes from the episode for people who don't want to/don't have time listen: It Remembers comes out next week with a video. The reason the album is out in September instead of before Warped Tour is because of vinyl pressings are so backed up. Daniel Davidson contributed more to the album than just drums. Including writing the brunt of C++. Andy Loves Lawrence, Kansas. Also, Eastern Canada. Andy said he lost 22 pounds on Warped Tour because of his Ramblin' Andy cowboy get-up. Jordan and Andy are now officially endorsed by Marshall.
Just saw this on the ETID Facebook, pretty fucking sweet We're going to plug in and perform Low Teens live tomorrow. Front to back. Upstairs Waiting Room. Buffalo, NY. $5. 7pm doors. First come, first served.
I'm hoping they have the album on sale tonight so we can get an early leak. I already preordered but I don't want to wait any longer! Edit: Oh shit Jordan just tweeted that they'll have it on sale. Someone please upload it!
they're retweeting everyone who went to the show and already has a physical copy and it's killing me over here
