I just listened to Radical the other day and I remember it having at least three songs that were good, but felt like fat to be trimmed. But to my pleasant surprise the whole thing flowed really well and never felt lien it lagged. Pretty incredible considering its their 9th album.

Also because time wise would show that it’s a long album but I’ve never felt that.

I listened to Ex-lives and From Parts Unknown when they came out but Low Terms is the one that really clicked for me and made everything else in the discog fall into place.

Radical is my #1 too now tho

 

From Parts Unknown is where they moved over to being one of my favorite bands. They really killed it on the last 3 releases.

 

FPA is when I went from casual observer to die hard fan. The run of the last 3 is absolutely immaculate.

 

Yea I didn’t think they’d ever top FPU. Decayin With The Boys has to be my favorite ETID track, but Radical was just too good.

 

From parts unknown, Low teens, and Hot Damn are probably their top albums for me, Radical and Ex Lives follow that, and at the bottom is Gutter Phenomenon with the production ruining the album somewhat for me

It’s funny, i always think NJA is going to be lower on my list and then I’ll do a full run through of their discography and I’m always floored by it. Such a great album, start to finish. It’s got some of their most straightforward song writing and some stoner rock guitar tones with those bass-y crunchy tones.

 

wanderlust will always be my favorite ETID song as it was the first I heard, but god damn if Map Change is just the absolute peak of the band

 

Host Disorder is also a jam on NJA. Funny how that album has Greg Puciato as a tiny feature on it.

 

I feel like my experience with this band is so bizarre since I discovered them with FPU while they were on Warped Tour/etc.

 

is Last Night In Town any good, I think the earliest I've ever listened to is Hot Damn
