Will always remember when I went to the first boat show and they pulled people on stage for Indian Giver and I got to sing with Keith for the ending and then help hold Jordan up as he crowd surfed the finishing notes. So happy I made it to that show.
I remember in November 2011 getting a random package from Epitaph containing the advance of this record - I nearly shit my pants anyways I love this album so much - it's a bummer (among many) that this anniversary of the album will not be acknowledged by the band (just like the Hot Damn anniversary last year)
Just gonna throw out some love for "Holy Book of Dilemma". One of my faves for sure. SEPARATE HEARTS ARE THE WHOLE OF THE LAW!!!
Awesome retrospective Album That Combined Metal, Punk, and Southern Flavor Into an Unlikely Masterpiece
Still maintain it's their best record. Was crazy seeing all of the critical acclaim for it at that time.
10 years of From Parts Unknown is crazy because I remember being like 13 seeing the music video for Decayin with the Boys for the first time
Was the album that fully got me into them, which seems late but damn it's been 10 years. Still in my top 3 for them, going Radical > Low Teens > From Part Unknown. Absolutely phenomenal album.
I couldn’t help myself: 1) Radical 2) Low Teens 3) From Parts Unknown 4) Ex Lives 5) Gutter Phenomenon 6) Big Dirty 7) New Junk Aesthetic 8) Hot Damn! 9) Last Night In Town
It’s a fun one (and the record that got me into them back in 03’) but everything they’ve made since has been all around stronger ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
