Long time founding member and bassist said the n- word on warped tour and got kicked out over the summer but the band regrets kicking him out

 

And he didn’t say it in a friendly passing manner to his bro.

He said it with a hard R in an argument with a black band member of another band. Same one that called him out. That guy also was found out to be problematic, but the issue with Jim remains clear. Dude is a racist POS and the band would’ve preferred to sweep it under the rug.

 

Isn't he back in the band now? Like they kicked him out and then caved to pressure from their (90%+ white) fanbase and were like "we fucked up" and brought him back

Shithead being a racist aside, the ghost inside were basically "we were in an accident so we are brothers" and cleary didn't really even want to boot him initially

seriously tho, whats the hold up? tours are being announced left and right. if they were sitting on it til they could tour, now is the time.

I’m tired of waiting too but I have to imagine the summer announcement for a fall album drop is gonna go down soonish.

 

Some ETID related events in Buffalo just announced ; keith and Steve djing an emo nite and playing a show as their 90s cover band Soul Patch. Emo nites aren’t my thing but I’m pretty stoked for soul patch haha

 

where tf is the new record lol. you can tour. lets goooo

I feel like they’re the only band on the planet to not have US dates announced (aside from that TGH show)

might be Andy’s hand

 

My guess is they booked something for 2022. Like 6 weeks ago touring in 2021 seemed up in the air.

 

And the album they have been sitting on for over a year :(

 

yea it’s getting brutal. If the October release Andy said in a podcast is true , they could announce in July or august. I want to ask keith or Steve at the soul patch show in a couple weeks but I also don’t wanna be annoying

it’s also worth noting that their long time band manager retired about a month ago. I think he had a replacement lined up for them but I’m not sure if that threw a wrench in anything.

 

I want to know if they are at least even doing a holiday show this year
