Solid State Records just signed these guys and it sounds like they’re pretty heavily influenced by early ETID. I figured some people in this thread may enjoy.

First thought was “we have ETID at home kids.”

 

I hear like 10 different sections from various ETID songs in that song alone... wow. Not to be harsh but the vocalist sounds so weak in comparison to Keith, the screams lack power.

 

Intro/verse riff reminds me heavily of Just As Real But Not As Brightly Lit.

 

Yes!! Like a hybrid of that and Underwater Bimbos. Two considerably better songs.

 

On the stream last night Keith said "An announcement of announcing when the album will come out will probably be in April/May". So maybe late summer/fall??

 

I forgot they had a new/old album to release still.

 

That's lame but I could see them releasing in September like they were planning to do last year

 

I can see an album in September followed by a fall tour ending with TID The Season 2021

 

I would be so incredibly happy if this became true

 

They're still on the Furnace Fest lineup too, so all this is tracking.

 

Furnace Fest is the hardest fest for me to miss. I could attend that and probably never have to attend a show again. But alas, I started a new job this year and won’t have PTO for some time.
