Honestly wasn't overly hyped on the stream. Feels like they skimped out too much on actual songs. AWOL is sick. Also, what is this $0.69 donation thing on the website?
They also just streamed a set where they had played like, 25 songs, for free, so I was cool with the ratio of music/entertainment on this one
That's fair. I was definitely entertained by all the non-performance content, I guess I just went in with different expectations.
Maybe a tad shorter than I expected, but I loved every minute of it. I thought there was enough music and the skits were really entertaining. The new song is amazing. Now just need to wait for my Buffalo Fleece Letterman Jacket to come in the mail.
Did they send out AWOL yet? I somehow missed that it started at 5 and didn’t end up ordering until like 6 so I’m worried I won’t get it now
Normally not a rip the song guy, but did anyone rip the polka C++ cover from the Tidathon? Kinda want that on the phone.
Finally able to watch the stream, just finished AWOL. Definitely got some Gutter Phenomenon vibes from it, and looking back a page seems I'm not the only one so I'm not totally crazy! Super cool. Also genuinely love the band's comedy, even from that Nekrogoblikin Warped Tour video with Keith a few years ago he's had a good knack for comedic delivery and timing. And then Jordan going off during the shopping channel segments.
https://instagram.com/biggiexxx?igshid=1inxsohkgfpdy Their send-up of their manager Biggie is even funnier if you’ve seen him before. Guy manages ETID, Circa, Knocked Loose, Turnstile and others. Not a bad gig
Yeah Nick has had great success as a manager. Worked hard and stuck with it and it payed off for him. Most bands that have worked with GF are, well, still here and untarnished after a decade and many grew to be bigger than before.
