So I'm torn, they're performing at a Festival-type thing at a smaller venue about 40 minutes north of me, and then at Irving Plaza in NYC. Not sure which show to pick.
Can this band just seriously headline a tour. They're so much better than the bands they tour with it's unreal
if im being silly, they should be headlining any and all tours they are apart of if im being realistic, they should still be headlining any and all tours they are apart of co-headliners at worst
Is Beartooth big enough to headline? I mean I guess so. Whatever, I get to leave early with ETID as direct support. However, I don't want to travel to Worcester...
Beartooth played like 10 songs when I saw them headline a few months ago. Granted, they only had one album then but this has to be an unofficial "co-headline" type thing.
How is it that everywhere outside NA they have a headliner but for NA it's with Beartooth, fuck's sake
YES! Can't wait to listen to this tonight. Been an avid listening of LSS since it launched but this week will be one of the best yet.
Listened to a bit of that podcast on the way home from work just now, and Shane mentioned being on tour with Beartooth and Pierce the Veil and Beartooth is opening that tour but headlining over ETID? Does not compute..
man, keith is so awesome. just listening to him explaining his reasons for sobriety extending to his fans deserving more from him on stage.
Omg Shane- I haven't listened to your first record in a very long time Keith - Oh that's ok Straight up took my soul
Not gonna lie, I'm a bit worried about the new album after listening to this podcast. I'm sure I'll still like it, but he reveals that there is a song that is only singing and that they were listening to a lot of alternative rock music while writing and recording this... I hope I'm wrong or misunderstanding what he's saying.
I wouldnt worry too much about it. We have already heard like half the album live, nothing too different in those songs. A song with just singing, well, thats just like Revival Mode from Ex Lives. I would bet you're gonna love this album when it comes out!
I have complete faith in them, and yeah Revival Mode already shows they can do singing perfectly well
I'm cool with ETID supporting Beartooth. They seem to have a much younger demo. Good for ETID. Also it means I can leave earlier.
He also said in the podcast that the album isn't a huge change. Yes there's a song without singing, but just ONE song.
I listen to LSS every week but this was probably one of my favorite episodes. Really neat to hear how not drinking has done wonders for his voice, also with the justification of wanting to put on a better show for an older demographic that's investing a lot of time just to go to one of their shows.
If you haven't already, check out the episode Keith did in Going Off Track in June. I'm a little biased because I think LSS on the whole isn't very good, but Keith opens up a lot more on it about everything surrounding the birth of his daughter, decision to drop drinking, and general newfound way of life. It's a really cool listen!
