Even after multiple listens, Glitches doesn't really do it for me. I love The Coin Has a Say, but if the album is closer to Glitches than that, it's going to be another Ex Lives for me. Solid album, but towards the bottom of the list of my favorites of theirs.
I'm still getting chills every time I listen to The Coin Has A Say. That's going to be an all time ETID jam. I need this album to come out now.
I like TBD and HD! More than Ex Lives but it's still in my top tier ETID records. I do agree on Glitches, I know I got a lotta shit earlier for saying it was kind of this albums Moor but I think the live version is much better than the recorded version. My bad. Still like the song but it doesn't touch Coin.
Any time I hear or read the word "nigh", I instantly HAVE to listen to Pelican of the Desert, which usually ends up being a full album listen through. God, I love From Parts Unknown.
Apparently there's two "creepy" tracks, one being the opening song and the other being "It Remembers." One of those might be the "Moor" of the album. That might already be common knowledge haha.
Did not know that, interesting. As weird as it sounds I'd LOVE for ETID to go gloomier and gothier. Would be cool
I still think they missed a great opportunity to release the album around the start of Warped. But then again, maybe releasing it later will help build interest in their fall tour?
Jordan mentioned on Adventures In Design podcast they wanted it out before warped but the vinyl pressing plant was too backed up.
id imagine a North American tour supporting Low Teens is the annoucement of AN announcement coming soon. typically around the time when WT ends a lot of the bands announce their fall or winter touring plans
Wish ETID and letlive. would tour the states again. Letlive dropped off that tour with them and The Chariot back in the day and it was a huge bummer.
I love vinyl as much as the next person, but I wouldnt have minded waiting for the vinyl release while having a cd or digital copy to hold me over haha. Still hoping for a leak, this record has been done for a while now. Pretty bummed their fall tour isnt coming through my hometown.
