Same here, great album

 

that record is 10?? jfc

 

I remember the first time I listened to that album: it was the leak and my buddy and I grabbed a 12er of Bud bottles and got comfortable on the couch. Then we hit play, turned the volume all the way up and were blown away.

 

Can't believe NJA is 10 years old. I always liked ETID before that, but that's the album which really turned them into a favorite.

 

Yeah I got into them right around this release. 10 years of being an ETID fan!

 

I'm listening to it right now and this album is just incredible. I'd say it's the 2nd heaviest after FPU, but it's still got so much catchiness too it.

 

“For the Record” is still one of my overall favorite ETID songs. Both bonus tracks are insane, too.

 

My friend and I drove to 2 different Best Buy’s to find the deluxe edition with the Shit Happens dvd.

 

Tracks 6-9 are probably the only 4 song stretch on any ETID album that i'm not crazy about, but the rest of the album is great. Roman Holiday is probably my favorite ETID intro track.

 

Who Invited the Russian Soldier? is one of their best. “There is nothing to see here and that nothing looks back at us.”

nja is definitely top-tier etid! roman holiday/marvelous is about as strong of a 1-2 as they have in their discography. for the record is awesome and organ grinder is one of my favorite songs of theirs. if i had to pick a least favorite on the album it'd probably be turtles all the way down, but i still enjoy it.

 

Likewise. That whole song is one of my favorite sets of lyrics from Keith.

 

When I was listening to it today I remember thinking Turtles was my least favorite on the record right before it played. And then once it was on I was thinking, "okay but this still slaps..."

 

Their DVDs were so damn good. I wish we got more of those.

 

White Smoke is underrated in my opinion. Them vocals.

Man Low Teens is still so good. Realllly bums me out they couldn’t have Davison stay

I was listening to an interview today where Keith talks about all the shit he went through during the writing process. Listened to it right after and it’s 10x as devastating now.

From Parts Unknown is the one I'm constantly undecided about because of the loud production, it can be fifth or even fourth depending on how I'm feeling.
