After all these months of looking for any small tidbits, it's almost surreal to have official full info on the album (especially a 15-song deluxe!), even if it's a 3-month wait. What an awesome song to hold us over though... God, the end of that song is delicious. Plus, new ETID and Norma Jean releasing only two weeks apart- gonna be a fun September.
I'm hoping He Is Legend will have their album out around that time, as well. This fall will be insanely stacked. Also, I love your avatar.
Thanks! Same to you as well. Between this new ETID news and the news of new Curb Your Enthusiasm, this has been a pretty awesome week.
Buffalo Gals is such a great song. I love the whole thing but it kicks it up a notch around 2:20 or 2:30 or so. Incredible.
I saw them for my first time last year and it was while they were on tour with The Used, but they played an off-date show at a 150-200 cap venue. They eventually asked everyone onto the stage for the last two songs and I was standing right next to Daniel Davison. It was sick.
Rumor is a tour with Beartooth, Old Wounds, and Fit For a King this fall. Beartooth, Every Time I Die, Fit For A King & Old Wounds Tour Reportedly In The Works | Theprp.com – Metal And Hardcore News Plus Reviews And More
Ugh, thumbs down. This band so rarely tours with any others I like haha. Still see them every time they come through though.
Old Wounds sounds interesting. Beartooth and FFAK sound like scene bands to me, not my thing. I'll go just for ETID, regardless.
Their headlining club tours usually have a weird mix of bands. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a club tour with The Bronx.
The last time they came through Vienna it was with Cancer Bats, Make Do and Mend, and Set Your Goals. No complaints here :D
I'm fine with those bands, I like Beartooth and I don't know Fit for a King quite as much but I listened to like 1 album from them and thought it was decent. Old Wounds I don't know.
The best tour was Misery Signals opening for Zao opening for Every Time I Die opening for Dillinger Escape Plan. Incredible tour.
so this is a neat little game we're playing over in the JEW thread: taking your favorite song from each track position and making your "perfect" ETID LP. so ill start us off 1. Romeo A Go Go 2. Holy Book Of Dilemma 3. I Been Gone A Long Time 4. We'rewolf 5. Rebel Without Applause 6. Moor 7. Champing At The Bit 8. Revival Mode 9. Hit Of The Search Party 10. After One Quarter Of A Revolution 11. Buffalo Gals b-side: Goddamn Kids These Days track 6 and 8 were the hardest for me. lots of great picks there.
1. Underwater Bimbos from Outer Space 2. Pigs is Pigs 3. I Been Gone A Long Time 4. Wanderlust 5. For the Record 6. Moor 7. Rendez-Voodoo 8. Revival Mode 9. INRIhab 10. After One Quarter of a Revolution 11. El Dorado 12. Idiot Didn't mean to exclude Gutter Phenomenon, as I do like that album. I almost put Guitarred and Feathered as track 9, but Dallas Green gave the edge to INRIhab.
