I probably haven’t seen this band live in 10 years and that is so depressing. I feel like my schedule is never in sync with theirs

 

I saw Andy at a wrestling show a few weeks ago an spoke to him briefly. I told him how much Low Teens means to me and he seemed really moved by it. Thanked me profusely and told me he'd pass my words along to Keith, because it's his baby.

We talked wrestling for a minute too, and then he joked that he's ready to make another ETID record but he's cool with wrestling while The Damned Things is going on.

 

Fuck. The Damned Things is awful.

 

Is it really? What don't you like about it?

So I was listening to this album, and the ETID vibes were so strong that I HAD to recommend it. Produced by Kurt Ballou, and the band supposedly shares members with The Armed.

 

If you told me that was Keith I wouldn't doubt it. Cool song.

 

Yeah he sounds both like Keith and Josh Scogin at the same time, which freaks me out.

Totally. I’ve been listening to The Chariot a lot lately. Miss them

 

I do miss the Chariot but some of the 68's songs are just as good if not better.

But yeah by and large The Chariot for sure.

 

if someone told me Roots was the first single to the next ETID record I wouldn't bat an eye.

I’d do questionable things for a ETID track with Scogin

 

tbt to when he performed the guest vocals to fear and trembling on that one tour with '68

 

Hard to imagine my taste in music, particularly heavy music, if Scogin wasn't doing what he was doing in the late 90s/early 00s.

He's definitely a top three most door-opening musical artist for me, if not number one.
