Grabbed the vinyl, I'll grab merch @ Warped.

 

So 15 new ETID tracks counting the deluxe. Oh happy day. So excited.

Guess I'll be running through the discog today in preparation. Top 5 band for me now. Can't wait.

 

see i have a dilemma. i don't really like etid. there's some songs i love, some i don't but I really want that pink record...

 

The Coin Has a Say harkens back to the good ol' Hot Damn days. I love it so far. My wallet hates me lately with all these records coming out.....but fuck it.

interesting, not seeing anything in his discog i particularly like but from the style of bands he works with it seems like a really good fit for etid, the new song sounds great

 

oh wait he did the only chiodos album i like, thumbs up

I'm excited now. FPU was one of he best records of 2014 and their entire discography is full of bangers. The new song is so good.

 

I like the new song, but the production sounds just a tad muffled. Like I'm listening to it through a thin pillow.

Still pumped. Sucks it's so far away :(

 

Song is so good. Pumped for the record. September is a good ETID month for me, enjoy them in the fall.

 

Gonna have to wait until Friday to order. I actually like one of their preorder shirts for once.. Haha

I thought it was just the quality of the stream. You are right though, the production doesn't sound right to me either, most especially during the solo. September is too far away, and the cover is strange, but I kinda dig it. It's different for them but still familiar due to the color scheme. They love pink lol

 

Song sounds great on my monitors. Seems to my ears to be a little low end leaning, which could cause it to sound off on some listening surfaces. I A/B'd it with some Ex Lives stuff, and it's pretty similar though the new one has a bit more cut and tightness in the low end.

Streaming all this on Apple Music btw.

 

Maybe it's just the spotify stream, but the first second of the song sounds really loud, then the volume dips. It's strange. Do you notice this as well?
