They never do headlining tours and it's so frustrating. I don't want to spend $50-$100 to see them in the middle of some shitty festival while standing around in the heat all day. They're popular and talented enough to headline, I don't get why they don't do it :(
Do you have links to those tour dates? Because I'm a huge fan and either they didn't come through here (DFW, TX) on any of their tours or I somehow completely missed that, which I can't fathom.
Not sure how close these are because obviously America and Texas are huge but... 2017 February tour 2/13 — Houston, Texas @ Walter's Downtown 2/14 — Austin, Texas @ Sidewinder 2/15 — Austin, Texas @ Sidewinder 2/16 — Lubbock, Texas @ Jake's Sports Café 2/17 — El Paso, Texas @ Tricky Falls then their spring tour didnt seem to hit texas: Every Time I Die Announce Spring 2017 Headlining Tour Setlist.fm also has them on Low Teens tour: 7/24 - Dallas, Texas @ Gas Monkey 7/25 - El Paso, Texas @ Tricky Falls
Yeah, I saw those and those other cities are minimum 6 hours round trip driving and the other tour dates were opening for Taking Back Sunday.
To be fair they haven't headlined in Cleveland since 2012. I guess you could technically count the coheadliner with The Ghost Inside but even then that was 2014
I wonder who they're going to go with for production on their next album. I know they like switching things up but Ballou and Putney did the last 2 and they're easily the best producers in the game right now imo
