Nirvana, Deftones, and Smashing Pumpkins all day every day for me when it comes to peak 90’s music.

Pavement, Oasis, Eve6, 3EB, Weezer, Incubus, and even Lit are great too from their 90’s era.

 

Let’s not forget PJ Harvey, Portishead, Björk, Fiona Apple, Garbage, Tori Amos, Sonic Youth, Mazzy Star, Liz Phair, The Cranberries and many many other alternative bands helmed by women

 

I thought we were doing just bands. But yeah, Bjork is one of my favorite artists.

 

LMFAO of course this would turn into a conversation about Oasis. Way better than the armchair psychology from 10 pages earlier at least.

And I am all about respecting peoples subjective preferences of bands , but I definitely audibly laughed when I read that post about Pavement being better than Oasis.

 

Ngl when i first saw mention of the Gallagher’s, I thought we were talking about Shameless.

Oasis are great because they were loudly supporting the beat football team in the country at a time when it wasn’t easy or cool.
