people use it to get off of opiates. it’s usually not expensive and sold at most head shops. I don’t think he’s on it.
Oh I’m sure he’s not. Was just a funny bit how a drug I’ve never even heard of is what a sub reddit assume he’s on.
My fiance's mom uses kratom for chronic pain (they both have fibromyalgia), but it worries me from time to time just based on what I know about using it recreationally from college. Although the only side effect I was aware of was eating a shit-ton of it and getting cookie tummy.
For people with chronic pain, kratom is a miracle leaf that gets them off of government-made heroin they call pain killers that will cripple you after years of relying on them. There's ridiculous reports from your local news team probably about kratom being deadly and dangerous, it's not. Addictive? sure but it can not kill you and it is a hell of a lot safer than prescription drugs.
I tried using Kratom to get off heroin/fentanyl a few times but it never worked, my tolerance was always nuts so I’d have to take like 30 grams of it for the tiniest bit of relief, just the nastiest green sludge. no idea what it’s like for people not using it to get off opiates that’s just my experience, I never felt a thing from it really
