Wonder if the idea was to have another vocalist do European and UO tours and see where Keith was at after that.
This sucks. I saw this band at age 13, and it blew my mind. I saw them several more times, but haven't since about 2015. Wish I traveled the ~2 hours to go see them on this last tour. :(
Theres no point in speculating this considering the statement released by the band noted that moving on with a different singer was never on the table.
Ok I am not trying to take sides here but a legal document notifying Keith of the other members' intention to separate from him does kinda seem like "you're fired" no? Don't understand how it doesn't. It's not literally a firing sure but for all intents and purposes...
I just knew this was coming after last week. I had the feeling a breakup might be looming, but when he doubled down on this tour going on in spite of the other UK cancelation, I figured the q&a would just be getting juicier. Such a bad idea
Ah, yes. Time for that DJ to exploit Keith’s mental health/the band’s rough public breakup for monetary gain. Nothing good can or will come from this. …and what happens when the Twitch/Patreon money streams dry up for Keith once all of this is old news? I don’t think now’s the time for burning bridges.
Alexisonfire taking ETIDs spot on the UO tour is the only possible scenario that I will accept given the circumstances. I will need them to pull off a cover of We'rewolf as well.
Two tours is different from “moving on”. Weren’t both sides saying Keith wanted time away anyways ? I always got the sense the other 4 wanted to fulfill their business obligations and allow Keith to take the time away he wanted. And then re-evaluate the situation at that point
Seems like shit is only gonna get messier and messier. I really don’t want to see the band’s legacy get tarnished by bringing what should really be private info into the public light.
