I want to headbang to this so badly but I went a little too hard in that department during One More and the NIL last night and holy crap I am board stiff.
Ok last post for the night - Putneys production really gives the instruments so much space. On headphones and directionally, things sound incredibly “placed”
So awesome that the vinyl came with an old school cd-like booklet. Was able to pick up the opaque lime green variant from my local shop.
God damn Goose was such a great addition to the band. Absolutely relentless and easily keeps up with the barrage of riffs from Jordan and Andy. I love this fucking album
Interesting this just credits Josh Scogin but everywhere else I've seen it say featuring '68 and I was trying to see if the drummer played on it too
I have no idea how to measure if a song is huge or not anymore unless it gets played on SiriusXM's countdowns from Octane of Liquid Metal or something. Top of the.... Spotify playlist? I wish Post Bordem were huge for them! (464,000 Youtube views isn't bad).
Did a little digging and was reminded of the tweet when Steve revealed the Josh feature So Andy was the one behind All This And War's riff if I'm assuming this right, bless him
I thought I was stuck waiting weeks for my splatter, but then my buddy alerted me to a new punk/hardcore only record store that doesn’t even have a sign out front yet, and they had the green so I had to snag it haha
I think I'm 5 listens in now and I think this may have bumped Hot Damn out of my top 3, it might even be my new #1 from them. I think they've seriously upped their game even from Low Teens on melding beautiful melodic parts with the crushing heaviness, like People Verses and White Void are so wonderfully crafted. And Drew talked about it a bit with his interview, but Keith's newfound foray into more direct lyrics is exactly what I needed. People Verses hit me hard this past listen with the lyrics. I could probably go on multiple paragraphs on why I love this album so much, damn
