My goodness Andy sounds so good here. I love new ManOrch but hearing him in front of some heavier music is heavenly.

 

Total Deftones vibes in Keith's vocals on White Void. Nice.

 

I know Keith is always known for one liners, but the existential dread ones on here just hit a little harder

 

Yeah just listened once this morning, but it’s rad. Was a very rainy morning, and the album paired perfectly.

Andy Hull is on every album I love it.

 

I'm not sure this is going to hit Low Teens levels for me, but that's a VERY special album. Still, what a trip this is.

I think my favorite here is People Verses? Also, We Got Together isn’t hitting and I hope that changes for me over time.

God this album is so fucking good, still finding it difficult to think of the three songs they released last year as part of the album since we've been sitting on them so long but colossal wreck, desperate pleasures and awol are still insane songs. Would say post-boredom is the weakest on here but it's still amazing

 

I can't comprehend how they can keep topping themselves but they do

 

Still five songs to go, but Hostile Architecture is the fave. No bad songs. Shockingly (sarcasm)

Actually love Post-Boredom. AWOL is still great too. I managed to restrain myself and not overplay anything before this

 

I held out on Planet Shit and was blown away by that one. It's one of those classic We'rewolf/Decayin' With The Boys type bangers. Post-Boredom has only continued to grow on me. I don't think I'll ever get sick of Desparate Pleasures, Colossal Wreck, or AWOL at this point.
