actually getting emotional with this record. ETID has been there for my best moments and they've almost single-handedly dragged me into the darkest point of my life. Right now I'm in a complete shift and starting a brand new chapter that has me beaming with joy. This came at the perfect time just as every other ETID album.
dang now the album has to live up to this interview. it was like you let us peek inside Keith's soul. Thank you, man.
I think the ETID release cycle for me has been Singles -> Drew review/interview -> Album for as long as you've been doing them
Drew, that review was great. The combination of reading that and all the initial comments has me so stoked. Keith just seriously seems like the best.
I'm going to hit play and I'm so nervous, like... the fact we're experiencing the first Every Time I Die album in 5 years is now a reality and it's such a thrilling feeling. See you on the other side.
Holy shit that opener... building on the early Mastodon vibes of some parts of Low Teens, I see. That guitar tone is nasty.
All This And War sounds like various eras of Every Time I Die thrown together, the Josh Scogin feature being the cherry on top. What a bangerfest this has been so far.
honestly @Drew Beringer that was an incredible interview. so damn good I had to share it with a handful of people that haven't heard the album yet to get pumped. the shit Keith says about doing shit differently, and just going with it (the dancing for the video part) because the way you comported yourself before didn't make you happy -- I felt that in my soul.
“Babe why are you crying?” “Josh Scogin is on the ETID album.” i waited my whole life for this moment and it’s everything.
