    this is funny because i've been feeling like the barbarians of california as a sort of etid lite, and i don't know if it's just because it's newer and fresher in my mind but the many eyes ep feels closer to barbarians than etid. echo of an echo of an echo.

    even so i greatly like combust on the whole way better than the light age

    keith was just featured on a song by sydney, one of the best bands in the genre and it's the most random pairing i can imagine.

    The drums on that song are wild but I’m not a fan of the vocals. Even keith’s part sounds roughly produced / mixed

    i think so. i was so confused when i got a notification from apple music. sydney's first two records could honestly put them in favourite band territory but i don't know anything about them except they're also canadian. i've never gotten a chance to see them though, unfortunately.
