It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

That’s the craziest part of this band is everyone having a different opinion and I’m still like “oh fair enough, totally relate”

I can’t argue against Low Teens/Radical being their best work but FPU and NJA will forever keep me coming back. Roman Holiday might be my all time favorite opening track.

Low Teens because it took me from a casual fan to "whoa this whole album rules". Petal is one of my favorite heavy songs ever.

I'll probably never be able to shake TBD because of what it meant to me at the time (and still does, but clearly a lot is fueled by that nostalgia). They're so solid across the board and what a stretch to hit such highs like Low Teens and Radical at the end. FPU is another one that I'd hold in higher esteem cause of them dang b-sides. I can put Cheap Ludes on at any given time and I'll start throwin down

Hot Damn opened my ears to "more challenging" heavy music so it will always be that for me.

i've been back and forth between low teens and radical but i think planet shit, colossal wreck, desperate pleasures all put radical at the top given their lyrical content and the state of everything right now.

Low Teens is my favorite, with Radical being a close second. Band just went out on an absolute tear.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

yeah Radical is The One for me but Map Change may be their best song/one of the peaks of this whole genre

this is like picking my favorite child

low teens >= radical == TBD == NJA == Ex Lives >= FPU > Gutter

all those ones in the middle could be interchanged depending on which version of keith's vocals i want to hear

Echo what's been said. Ex Lives was the big first album for me, but the production is a little less to my taste so it doesn't knock any other off the top. Probably would tie between Low Teens and Radical at first, EL, FPU and NJ close second

Radical is their best record. The perfect swan song even if they weren’t planning for it to be.

Favorite record changes constantly, but right now it's FPU. The music is more technical but still has plenty of groove, and I think it has Keith's best lyrics. I will say that I think the Steve Evetts-produced albums are my favorite ETID records, sonically. The tones are immaculate.

I just did a discography run through, and have always been into them but not like... Mega fan. ANYWAY, my biggest takeaway was just how fucking brutal and heavy FPU is, they just absolutely went for it. Good album

They also have the absolute best guest vocals and they never feel forced. Brian Fallon on fpu, Josh Scogin and Andy Hull on radical, the Dallas Green features. All just so good

    Ronstile.

brendan being a mega fan and doing that was so sick. also andy said in an interview they initially wanted a woman for that part but brendan’s register fit so wel they just went with it.

I also REALLY loved Josh Scogins feature on Radical. forever slightly bummed he didn’t hang up 68 and join them as the vocalist for Better Lovers. So happy they had them out for one of their last tours and had him come out for the song.

The feature on the opener for Low Teens is also so fucking good. They never missed on guests.
