Greg and Keith are both very talented frontmen with their own strengths. Keith has a much more distinct POV lyrically, Greg is more convincingly versatile (I doubt Keith has any synth-pop in him). Different strokes!
Back in 2004ish a guy at school lent me Miss Machine and Hot Damn (also Scarlet's Cult Classic). Those two have always been side by side with me.
Damn I went into that Keith tweet expecting something weird and it was actually quite innocuous. You people are looking for shit to be annoyed by lol
what annoyed me is the implication that this will somehow be better than what came before, and what came before was Radical, probably one of the best albums I've heard in my entire life, so that suggestion is wild and absurd to me.
To be fair, people tend to think their most recent project is their best work, fairly consistently I’m excited for whatever’s next for Keith. I really enjoyed better lovers—liked Greg’s vocals a lot more than I expected since I’m not a huge Dillinger guy
Breaking news: for what we think is the first time in history, music artist says their current work is better than the last thing they did
maybe this will be a Botch type situation where the 2 resulting bands actually ended up better. please do not come for me thread I know this is an inflammatory statement.
"It's both heavier and more melodic than our previous material. It's really the culmination of everything we've ever done."
